Okay, all my pieces parts are coming together now and I'm trying to figure out the best way to route the IC piping on the drivers side of the car.  My original plan was to route it the same way the MSM's have it, but unfortunately, the rear end of the headlinght is so much longer that it complete blocks that hole.  It's there and in the same spot at the MSM, just covered by the stupid headlight.
So, here's my question I guess....

Can I see some pictures of your NB's IC routing?  Mainly only on the drivers side where it comes up into the engine bay is what I'm specifically looking for...

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Finally getting around to ordering the last of the required pieces parts now.  Ordered all my Braided line and fittings for oil supply/return from Summit Racing and ordered my intake elbow from BEGi, also bought the SGDP from the board here. :rock2:  Now, if only Tom at FFSupercharger's website was working, I could order my EM too!  After all that, it should be just a matter of getting the time together to do the install.... dancenana

I'm installing a MSM turbo as well.  Can you tell me what you used for the oil feed?  What size thread is there on the turbo?
I'm assuming you used a 1/8BSP to 1/8 NPT T with a -4AN coupler at the oil sensor?

The only thing he had as an em is the PC Pro which he uses for his supercharger kits

Yet another seemingly half baked way to get more fuel/spark advance on a FI Miata. Why won't someone use/support the eManage or the AEM FIC??

I haven't really checked into the PC Pro. Perhaps it's fine. My feeling from checking out FFS is that the coolside MP62 sounds really cool, but the PC Pro and the "E-cool" made me loose interest.

I wonder how easy it would be to put a cold side on an MSM?! Wink

And man, my lil 91 would fly with a 99-00 swap and a MP62. Someday perhaps....

Go do some checking and see how many motors have gone boom using the E Cool system

As for the other 2 units you mention the problem is the  manufacturers support is poor so as a vendor that does more than just sell a box on the Internet to someone it is hard to sell and provide support to your customer.  IIRC a long time ago FM had looked at other products including the AEM.  This was long before the Hydra.  I'm sure if the results looked promising they might have gone ahead with selling them.

I gave up on the MSM kit for my Miata.  Turns out that the turbo/manifold, when installed onto the motor, would hit the water pump inlet or outlet, whatever the hell it is on the side of the block.  To make it work, one would have to pull off the inlet and have it cut and welded back together about 2" shorter.  So, I parted out the kit and then purchased an FMII no electronics kit.  I'm using the PC Pro and Timing card provided by Tom at FFS.  Works great!!  Simple setup and took about 10min to get the car tuned to where I like it.  Run's a rock solid 11.5AFR when under boost and 0 knock at ANY RPM or ANY load.  afro

For future searches and the archives about this the water pump outlet is different on the MSM.  All that is needed is to swap the MSM piece on the non-MSM engine.
