i torrent every episode the day after they air in the UK.  Spent about 4 hours saturday morning watching old episodes while it poured outside.  So many good moments, it's hard to pick.  Here are some favorites...

1. endurance racing in a diesel 3 series
2. the whole vietnam episode
3. the race across london where the stig has to ride public transit
4. helping Boris Johnson find London's next city bus by having bendy bus races
5. Captain Slow learning car control from Mika Hakkinen
6. the $1000 police car challenge
7. TG UK vs TG Deutschland
8. Top Gear Stuntman tries to set a world record car jump in reverse and fails

Actually, I'm pretty sure every segment is my favorite.

What does "i torrent" mean?  Is a Torrent some recording device like a TiVo?  I'm so behind the times when discussing these new trends!  Cry

First he means I torrent as in he does it.

Torrent is a method of downloading the video from a website, it takes time because it's a low overhead system.

Why the last corner is called Gambon. You've got to watch or fast forward to almost the end though. The interview is pretty funny.

So after posting in this thread last week, I got kind of excited about watching Top Gear, so I went out and searched through the vastness of all the great big intarwebs, and found the torrent files for the first 9 seasons that I didn't have, and began downloading them last week.  Sadly, there aren't many people sharing 8 year old television, even if it is this brilliant, so it's taking a good long while.  But, I can happily say that by this afternoon, I'll have everything but season 4 (which should take another week or so, at the current download rate).  But I will get it.  I will have them all.

That's right.  I will soon have every episode of Top Gear (well, the new Top Gear).  That's something like 105 hours of top gear...
