First time I've been in one. I was out looking at cars and stopped to look at the new challenger. The had an 03 Viper on the lot. $42K, HELLO!!! that's in my price range. So we get the key and check it out...OMG!! I could barely get in and out of it. The pedals are so close together I couldn't even use the dead pedal without driving shoes. It looks great sound great. I was going to test drive it but there was really no need. There was no way in hell I'd buy it. The MSM has more interior space.

Yea, and doesn't the center console sit really high as well?  I peered into one at a car show and was totally disappointed.  I read a magazine article about one with side pipes (maybe they all have them) but the guy actually burnt his leg.

Just drop an LSx motor into the MSM and call it a day  thumup

I have the turbo upgrade and Hydra waiting to be installed...and all I can think of is my MSM with an LS6 in it..  I suppose one should have future plans, right? afro

Vipers are very ..in your face..cars.  Not a bad thing..but not everyones ride.

Freedom of choice.

I'm sure gonna miss Pontiac...and dare I say....Chrysler...

What if all Obama and the UAW build are.......Priuses?  I will commit suicide.. help

I think I'm going to just go through with my original plan of keeping the MSM and getting a C6 Z06

2006 Lamborghini Gallardo - My second favorite car

I've driven a few vipers...they WANT you to drive off the road. The seats are completely uncomfortable and the visibility is stupid.

They look really cool though. Unfortunately, your side pipes will choke out anyone that wants to talk to you by the side of your car.

The Viper is a little brutal to live with everyday. You probably would not get sick of the power or the noise, but the ingress/egress is an effort and that car is naturally bad tempered. I would still rock a 99' GTS though. Hell yeah.

I thought the seats were awesome, and with the top down the visibility was prretty decent.

For $40k Id be rocking an Exige S. All though getting into that probably makes the viper seem like getting into a minivan.

I had no interest in the Miata until I drove an MSM, and you could not likely get me in one that was not an MSM. The exige is more of a track car for the street. The MSM is more of a street car...top down and happy motoring. You never know, if I was to actually drive one I might like it.

The Exige is cool. I can't squeeze into one or I might own one.I would find a way to squeeze in one if it had a Cosworth motor in it... afro
