HI Justin ..I think since I have been a member here I have corresponded with 5 ex Z31 owners who went on to buy a MSM..
I owned my 87T for 5 years..I could not believe all the luxeries that came with it..I do miss mine but not the 0-60 in 7 seconds ..I wish I had the hatchback space and the large secret compartment I found out about 2 years later after ownership  Shocked   I also miss reading all the post at Z31.com

Very nice, I still have my 84 300ZX turbo. I don't drive it in the summer (A/C deleted) but it will be sharing the DD duties with the MSM starting in October. It turned 25 years old this year. I must say your engine bay was much cleaner than mine is.

Here's some pics I posted a while back if interested.

Yeah, my z31 was way faster than my MSM, but it was not stock. It handled very good. It had Tokico Illuminas with 1" sway bars and polyurethane everything. Not nearly as good as my Mazda, but good.

I miss the speed. I have had that car up to the fuel cut-off (137). I dont even think the MSM is geared for that speed lol. The fastest I have had mine so far is 110.

I had a 280zx turbo as well. It ws just stock with a lot of boost LOL

I REALLY want another s30. This is my old 260z. It was my second car (first z). It had a 2.8 with a ported head, big cam, and 240z carbs.I had this car when I had no money. As you can clearly see LOL

This is a pic of the first day I got it. HAHA

I really like Z's. I was looking at 350z's lately, but I just didnt like them. The way they drive, the way they handle. And the interior is just as small as a Miata, LOL. Thats why I got a msm.

I had a 260Z back in 83.  Loved it except the carbs were a real PITA.

Yeah the stock 260 carbs are crap from the factory.
I had a '71 240z - might still be the best engineered car I've owned (respect to MSM) but the Hitachi side draft carbs sucked beyond all belief, literally.  The bushings wear out and they suck air through the throttle linkage.  Pull up the manual choke a bit and it would take off like a raped ape!  I took down many Mustangs and Camaros in the twisties in that car  Cool.  Traded it in when it rusted off its wheels  Sad

Still have my '73 240z in the driveway. Well, The shell anyway. Motor and tranny are currently out and apart awaiting rebuild. I have thought about selling it several times, but I just can't part with it. Definitely the best handling car I have ever driven next to the MSM. I love the style. Just never can really decide what to do with the engine.  Fully built numbers matching naturally aspirated, or some sort of Frankenstein turbo setup. Hell, I have even pondered a third option. EV... Lightweight car and plenty of room under the hood for batteries, controllers, etc.

Beautiful car you got there. It looks like it has been garaged for the last 25 years. Absolutely clean inside and out.

The topend speed was great and I loved the wide look of the tires and then there were all the  buttons to play with and there were plenty to keep me busy and the ride was so smooth ..It was so advanced for its time..

Did you know about the hidden compartment behind the seat ?

I still have the window price sticker in a drawer .. $22000.00 out the door Yikes..I bought it for $5k in 1999 with 48 K miles on it..

I also took the charcoal color off the wheels after being told that there was chrome wheels under that paint..
