Yummy! I know a guy with a blind ball python; they have to warm the mice up (ziploc bag in hot water) so it can find them, and even then it doesn't do too well, need a few tries...

8th grade Biology class teacher had a small Boa (~3' IIRC). One day she tried to feed it a small live rat instead of a dead mouse. The snake struck, the rat jumped, landed on the snake, ran up its back and bit it on the back of the head. Dead snake. The whole thing took 15 second and less than 2 seconds after the snake struck. The class voted to keep the rat as a pet. The Biology teacher was pissed...

Survival of the fittest and it's clearly apparent that snake wasn't up to the job! Ironic the 'evolution/Darwin' section of the class was right around that time.

Survival of the fittest and it's clearly apparent that snake wasn't up to the job! Ironic the 'evolution/Darwin' section of the class was right around that time. Too bad people seem to be immune to that. Now we have survival of the ones who just breed the most, and no natural predators to keep them in check.
