I found a Hydra for sale locally for $500, only thing is its from a Scion tc. Besides a different harness, will this work for our cars or are Hydras made differently for each car? Also if it will work, what questions should I ask?

It will need to be upgraded/reflashed by Hydra.  You need to find the version of the unit and check with them what they will charge you to upgrade it to 2.7 and MSM status.  then you still need the FM harness or you need to rewire the harness yourself.   shockeyes

Looks like $400- $700 just to updgrade but I'll have to wait till Monday to call and see if it cost more to have it programed to MSM... If I can get it cheap it may be an awesome deal.

Well I just spoke to Hydra, seems like any Hydra can be have its hardware switched around for our cars.... to the tune of $150. This seller was unable to go lower than his $500 asking price. Take in the cost to switch cars, upgrade software and add a wideband, it ended up being closer to the FM price for new. Guess it will just have to wait. Thanks everyone with your help. thumup
