Title: lower control arm question
Post by: 04msm on May 02, 2016, 03:11:13 PM
Sorry if this has been discussed before,
Is the front lower control arm universal with all nb2 miata including MSM?
Thank you

No problem.

Setting aside the tab for the anti-roll bar link, front control arms are the same through NA and NB. I'm not sure about rear arms. Stuff shifted around in the NB rear suspension subframe.

I recall reading that the oldest control arms are lighter but also not as strong.  They would be a good backdate for an autocross guy chasing ounces but not for a track car jumping curbs.  The dimensions are the same - just some extra reinforcing metal in the final version.
