Title: Which Battery...Westco or Autozone? Post by: 05vrmsm on February 03, 2007, 09:45:48 PM I've been looking at replacement batteries (AGM type). Two reasonably-priced contenders are the Westco and Autozone's Duralast Gold. Both are priced about the same; the differences are in CCAs and warranties.
Westco: 475 CCA 4 yr warranty (1 yr full replacement/3 yr prorated) Autozone: 320 CCA 8 yr warranty (3 yr full replacement/5 yr prorated) What do you think? Westco has long been the go-to replacement for the Miata and I've never had a complaint. Other can surely chime in with their experiences with other brands, though. Guess they switched to some other vendor now.
