Can someone clarify why the BOSE amp plug needs to be re-wired with bypass jumpers if the amp is not going to be used?

I see it in the FAQ here

Bet you could sell the luggage rack to some sucker, wait I meant enthusiast, over on Miata.net    Smiley
I still haven't ruled out installing it.  If I decide I'll drive the MSM forever and not worry about resale, who knows what I might do to it just to make it the way I like.

I'm a believer in driving a car set up the way you want it.  In the case of doing something like wheels sticking out of the wheel wells and the car dragging the ground or a luggage rack on a Miata you need to strong enough to live with the criticism you will get for doing it.   Smiley

For me, this is how I rank my "stiffening" modz:
1. Twin hoop roll bar with built-in torque box (see http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mazda-MX5-NA-NB-89-05-Roll-Bar-Twin-Hoop-Torque-Box-Design-Uncoated-/282152911674) - drastically reduces chassis twist (even noticeable during slow-speed turns)

This is an interesting design! Although shipping to the US from Australia isn't practical, I am still curious: was it easier to install than the traditional roll bar?

shes running ALOT better now. drove it over 600 miles this weekend going to Lancaster PA to see some friends. the Ultrashield seat is surprisingly comfy even on long drives.

"Fit" is subjective. I have the FM silicone hose and while I did get it to work I'd hardly call it a good fit.  You definitely have to trim it which is not a big deal but the bends are wrong for the MSM. Being soft silicon you can bend it into submission.

I was so disappointed with FM's lower radiator hose, that I ended up not even using it! Just reinstalled the one that was already on the car, since it was still in good shape.

Saw a VR MSM in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario when I was there on vacation last week.  Rare treat for me.

I received my OE Mazda hose package from Priority Mazda, minus the lower radiator hose. I think I'll get the Gates lower hose. AC Delco brings back too many GM memories.

6/10, guess on one, and I knew the timing belt one cause I just did it!  I'm happy with that, I don't count myself as a real Miata geek.
