I have a wrecked msm and i plugged as much of the dash board back up as i could, and tried to start er up but i have no spark.  fuel is there, but i can't get it to spark.  It only has 30k miles on it.  Any help would be great.  If you have an idea, please help me out with how to check for whether thats the problem or not.  also, if it is the coil pack, how do i check, and can i use the one off my 99 as a replacement.

I checked most connections, but im not sure what ones would effect spark.  Some wires didnt have anything to hook up to on the dash and i assumed they were from the speedo, tach, air bags etc.  I did see vissually that there was no spark, and fuel is definitely getting to the engine.  Looked at fuses, but im not sure if there is certain ones that i need to check.  I did buy it wrecked, but it is all body damage.

look around at the faq section I think and download the service manual. That may give you some clues as to how to go about diagnosing the ignition
