lol, here's how

foind the address of your picture, in this case its: http://www.mazda-speed.com/albums/Photoshopped-Pics/VR_MSM_AERO_VENTED_HOOD.jpg... less the three dots on the end

use the little picture icon above you and paste the picture address in between the two img brackets and, voila, there's your picture

The hood is a bit too extreme IMHO but if it was painted the same color as the car it would appear less drastic.  dink

I agree its a little bit much but I think for the track folk, it would help quite a bit with getting some of the heat out of the engine compartment.

I think (sometimes anyway) that for the money, unless it's all about appearance, the oil cooler kit from FM would be money better spent.  That being said, I'm thrilled with any options to the original platform (the more that's available for the car the better!).   afro

i agree, much better! I grew up during the black hooded muscle car era, but any of the newer car styles with a black hood looks like a replacement that has not been painted to match.

My friend owned a 1971 Challenger T/A with the black hood.  It looked great but, as you stated, nowadays it looks like a replacement part that hasn't been painted!  Tongue

I love me some painted CF hood goodness (like this one on my other car: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3194/3076264392_6e9571a21a_b.jpg), but on the MX-5 there's no weight savings advantage so this hood really needs to look awesome and perform to be worth spending any $$ on. Smoothing out a CF hood so that you can't tell it's CF once painted is a PITA

I think it looks pretty sick...reminds me of the Nopro hood that I'm in love with...painted is the only way to go btw.
