Stock BOSE isn't cutting it. Need a new setup, need recomendations on what models to use.

Plan:
(2) 6.5 for doors
(2) replacement tweeters
(1) amp
(1) 10 or 12" sub (prefferably slim mount)
No more windblocker due to rollbar so I gotta use 2 speakers on the inside, dunno which ones will give me the best sound, and haven't done stereo in a while, but I'm basically looking to get some of the better stuff on the market.

Post up suggestons!

Why not 8's for the doors?

Will they fit? I want to keep the speaker grilles stock too, don't want to do any cutting.

Yep, 8's will fit fine.  Well, as long as you don't get fancy two-way deals with a "tweeter" out in front... But with 8-inch, you definitely have a lot of GOOD options for door speakers.  I'd even consider trying them out without a subwoofer first, because it's very possible those'll give you all the bass you want.

I can't suggest what might be good for higher-end speakers, but I know when I visited a local audio shop with my '95 Miata, he suggested I cut out the doors to make room for 8-inch, and go with those plus an amp.  6.5's just don't have enough area to really hit the lows for a car, especially for a convertible.
