Well, folks, still no hood, and no word from "Racing Lifestyles" on the NB hood. No contact either. I started a chargeback on my CC. Tongue

How did that turn out?  Did Racing Lifestyles come through?

I'm thinking about an extractor hood (primarily for track use), and the pickings seem pretty thin for an NB.

Thanks.

Bringing up a dead thread, but what fitment issues did the scoote hood have with the MSMs. What exactly was the trimming process needed.

The tower brace was the main interference. The deep vents required a different skeleton on the underside of the hood.

Under bracing had to be trimmed for the strut bar and the U-hook hole had to be dremeld out to lock shut. Quality of the fiberglass wasn't very good either, few people I know that do paint said it would need a lot of prep work to be ready for paint.

Gomiata.com has them for sale now and the fiberglass is the cheepest! the other two are pricy but they are carbon kevlar and carbon fiber, both carbon hoods are the same price!

Just to let you guys know, Chaser does pretty good sales from their facebook. Recently they have had sales with no shipping costs, and right now they are doing an inventory blowout sale. (not sure what is included with inventory). But I'm seeing if I can take my MSM there and get the scoote hoods fixed to fit our cars.

(Told him I would buy a discounted one only if they were paint ready)

Here's their profile in case you want to check it out.
