Since you said "competitive" I'll play Devil's Advocate and decry the need for Hoosier A6's! You can't be competitive on anything less than 100 Tread Wear (really 40 but I've seen some amazing things done on Nitto NT01's)! That being said, your alignment is also WAY TOO conservative. You should be on the other side of negative 2.5 in the front and a bit less in the rear (gonna need those adjustable control arms). I see you have FCM suspension coming which is excellent! Ride height is imperative for proper AutoX handling so anything above 12" (fender lip to wheel center) is too high (could be lower)! If you haven't ditched the stock ECU that will also be a major stumbling block! You've got to rid yourself of that 6500 rev limit and the horrible turbo kick that makes it nary impossible to have delicate throttle input. The MSM can be an amazing weapon in the AutoX arsenal but it does have quirks that need addressing to be successful!

Im not ready for nationals yet. lol. Im in the number 1 region in scca solo http://www.scca.com/events/news.cfm?eid=3263&cid=50937 and i still only need to be in the mid 60's in PAX points when compared to bill shenker http://miataroadster.com/racers to win BSP at least until someone else comes in. I will however need the a6 when I go pax or when the competition heats up.

I'm one of the top 3 miatas in auto x in my region in raw times. The 2 guys who consistently beat me are on r-comps. On the tighter courses (around 40 second), I can take them from time to time, or at least be within 1.5 seconds. On the larger courses (60+ second), the rs3 are completely inadequate against r-comp, being within 3 seconds takes work.

I was wondering if iphone had an app similiar to Trackmaster. The main problem I find with Trackmaster, and i wonder if this app suffers from the same problem, is that the built in GPS sensor in most smartphones only update at 1hz (1x every second). In autox mode, this isn't quite accurate enough, especially considering the app needs to chart the course as well.
On tracks, my friends have verified that trackmaster is within 0.2 seconds of actual timing transponder, but I've got a feeling that accuracy is artificial, being a result of google maps mapping out the track beforehand, and algorithms meant specifically to tweak accuracy on particular track. Which would be unavailable during autox mode.

Or this: http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Electronics-XGPS150-Universal-Smartphones/dp/B004M3BICUThe firmware hack gets you 5hz in no time. The onboard GPS does OK if you just want to try it out but the faster GPS is better in every way. If you track or autocross your car, have an iphone and don't have another video or lap/telemetry solution, you are hereby required to buy the Harry's Laptimer App. Period.
