maybe i missed it but what psi you running at on that last dyno. You are running a little leaner than me and Im at 10.5-11.1 AFR at 12psi and only pulling 203hp/212ftlbs. Im in 90degree heat on the dyno too but shouldnt be a 40hp difference. Maybe the richness and heat will hurt some HP but i wouldnt expect a 40HP difference.

That one was 10psi at 4k falling to 8psi which is not fixed thanks to my now working hydra ebc. AT 90 degrees youll be running less timing assuming a hydra due to the coolant temp trims etc.

Car runs great but what you are saying is completely off the charts from what I have seen. Either way, your curve looks good and smooth, stable AFR. Tell me Im missing something here as now I feel inadequate.

Haha. It's just virtual dyno. It's strong but probably not that strong. Serious though about the timing though as trimming out 5 deg really takes the punch out of the top end. It's also noticeably better than my 2.5. I'm trying it again in the heat ill let you know.

Sorry its taken me so long to post this, but here ya go. Thank you to everyone on this board who has helped me along the way. Im glad you enjoy following me and I hope I can provide more success along the way towards BSP. So.I have most of the elements needed to get to BSP. I will be buying slicks next year so few things are left (other than the nut behind the wheel). Midpipe and Exhuast, E85, OS Giken Diff, lighter Flywheel /Clutch (90k so far on oem ), Lighter Seats, Lighter Battery, Lighter Brakes. What will pick up the most time? More Power? More Lightness?

I saw a test of the OS Giken Diff at an AutoX and the car was actually slower than with the stock Torsen. Probably better places to invest that much money. Once you get the 275 Hoosiers under the car, and start running E85, I'd think lightening things up would give your biggest benefit. Since BSP limits doing anything to the engine or turbo, once you've done your other listed items you should probably consider some aero (front dam and rear spoiler). The National CSP Miatas are a good example. A splitter would be nice but the rules say it can't pertrude past the front bumper so that's not possible on our cars.

Is there anyway to find out how much time areo nets on a 60sec course? The CSP style spoiler would be easy enough to do. Plus its would give me street cred fo when Vin Diesel shows up.

Idle time on your hands can be a dangerous thing. Looks good. I'll be interested to see pics as you progress and what sort of difference it will make in autocross? Any plans on a splitter too?

Can't run a splitter in BSP. Front aero can't extend beyond the bumper. Car needs a Dam! What do the rules state about spoiler width? I think you could extend your design a bit further out on each side. Better make two (I want one)!

I think you could extend your design a bit further out on each side. Better make two (I want one)! Yup ill work on a air dam next. If nothing else ill have more grip coming out of the corners. What im really wondering is at what speed I really start to feel it. Also the reason for the 48" width is the cost. Over 200 bucks for the full sheet needed to make the spoiler inches wider just did not meet my cost benefit analysis. (you can go as wide as the factory body) In addition Im not sure how much more front end grip ill gain with that air dam; which should also enhance the rear download. If its still unbalanced at the high speeds ill change it then. Ill try to get a better shot of the corner.

Today I enabled Launch Control on the hydra 2.7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1y4jvJyb2Y<< still may be processing as of this posting. 80% fuel 60% ignition; -10 deg timing trim. at 3250 rpm from 9.6% throttle to 100% throttle.

You can build a splitter legally in BSP and it does work. Our mounts have been stretched down several times. What doesn't work is hitting cones at 75+ with the splitter like we tried to do a couple weekends ago at Blytheville. LOL
Good thinking on building the aero stuff, DIY is very inexpensive and noticable.
