The 615s have definitely jumped in price, compared to the 215s. My brother-in-law and I noticed this last night when we were trying to find tires for his Audi TT.

Kumho MXs are now beating the same-sized Azenis rubber by ~$20 per corner. Didn't used to be that way. I think the MXs are once again the best bang-for-buck on the market right now, performance-wise.

MX's are what I'm planning to replace the stock tires with when the time comes...  Although, at 13k I figured these woudl be closer to gone than they are.

Although... I am also keeping my eye out on what people think of the new Toyo T1-R when it gets here..

What's the treadwear rating on the stock tires?

Due to lack of weight, it's very tempting to snag some A048s or V710s and just run them full time starting in March or April. I don't put a ton of mileage on my cars each. Year. I figure at 2600 lbs., I should get 4-5K miles out of a rear set. You figure?

stock tires are TRreadwear of 260....

MX's are 220.

Azenis are 200.
Toyo T1-S/R are 280..

A048s don't come in the right sizes..
V700s are 50
710s are 30 Wink

I drove around for a few days on my 16" V700s..  It was fun, but they just pick up too many rocks & things and throw them around..
