For all the 2.7 owners, what method did you use to wire in the resistor needed to make your RPM gauge work?
I tried using some of those plastic wire tap connectors, different types, but still get a jumpy gauge that works 40% of the time. I don't know how to solder so if I can avoid that great...if I have no other option then I'll just have to learn.

I took apart the connector and pushed it in. then wrapped each leg with some electrical tape to each wire coming out of the same hole. its been good for years.

I took apart the HYDRA connector (the combs).... I didn't use any other connectors. I have also used these.
