Doesn't this only work for triggering the onboard logging in 2.7?  With 2.6 and earlier, the laptop does the actual logging, so it needs to be connected.

I don't know of a single hotkey built into the software for starting logging.  Maybe an OS-level scripting app would let you write a macro to send the right key combo to the Hydra software?

When I had my 2.5 I started and stopped the data logging when I was stopped. then reviwed the logs from afr and programmed my engine light to turn on when the afrs got too high.

If the computer is connected it might still work, is it available in the 2.5 version of drop down list of low triggers?

Guess I need to take my 10 year old with me to datalog but there is an open strait on the way home from work that I like to take a log from and I would rather do it with keystrokes not mouse clicks for safety. that way I can take the computer inside when I get home and review the log without having to get my kid in the car and go back out to a secluded area. I suppose if we went for an hour or two I could get lots of tuning done but children complain when you put them in the car and make them sit there and click buttons and wait for an hour. Even if there are full throttle runs every 10 minutes
