Author Topic: Is it my MSM or do the rear wind deflector speakers barely have any volume?  (Read 8518 times)

Even when I turn the fader all the way to the rear speakers I can barely hear the music Is this normal?

2004 Ti MSM #1707 bought Jan 2013 mostly stock with 46k miles. I wonder why they even added them.  They just add weight.  Not a lot, but it all adds up.

Anybody replaced / upgraded them?   Crutchfield says one BOSE amp powers the rear speakers and one the fronts.   Can anybody verify this?

I just bought this week, should be delivered today a whole new stereo system.  For the rear I'm going to do something like the first picture with a single dual voicecoil 5.25" speaker, see second photo.  I don't know when I'll complete it yet, but I'll share pics and thoughts once it's done.
