Quick question -- do you have a rollbar? I'm curious how the positioning of the seat may/may not be compatible with a roll bar. I know I can't put my seat as far back as I would like with my Hard Dog Hard Core bar.

I have a Hard Dog Sport with two diagonals with the foam pad and leather cover. The seat back clears the top bar by 1-1/4" when tilted back. I need to remove my speaker bar since the seat is resting against it.

If you decide to fab some of these, mind shooting a few pictures of the seat fitment with the bar? My biggest issue is that in order for me to sit in my Miata comfortably, my seat basically RESTS on one of the diagonals.  |

If anyone wants to do a "shorter guy" version of this someday, let me know. I would love to lower the seat, but I'm 5' 10" and not all the way back ...and not at all capable of fabbing anything up.

Here you go. I positioned the passenger seat the same distance from the rear body wall as the drivers seat (since it is no longer adjustable) and then reclined the seats so they were in line with the roll bar. The passenger seat just touches the roll bar cover and the driver's seat is approximately 1-1/4" below it.  |

I will be offering some of these seat rails for sale. For safety concerns the design has been updated to move the seatbelt attachment to the transmission tunnel instead of the seat rail. The items for sale will be posted on the "For Sale or Trade" forum within the next 5-10 days.
