So I started the install yesterday for my aftermarket radio.   My car came with a working Sirius Radio.  My reason for swapping to an aftermarket radio was to free up space for gauges.    I am having a bit of trouble figuring out where the Factory Sirius receiver is located in the car.  It was connected to the radio in the AUX port with a multipin white plug.   Tracing this wire leads to the passenger compartment somewhere near the bottom of the door.  I pulled the glove box and cannot see the wire or the sirius unit.  Without disassembling the whole passenger side trim, would anyone know where this unit is generally installed?  I need to find the unit so that I can re-use the existing antenna already mounted on my rear deck.

Option 2 would be to leave everything in place and simply add the other antenna that came with the new radio.  If I go this route,  how do you route a wire from the rear deck to the inside of the car to the dash or glove box.

Thanks for everyone's support on this issue.

I thought the box for the Sirius was in the trunk.

Have not looked there!   Would make sense as the wire seems to disappear into the lower passenger side trim.  It could possibly extend back to the trunk.  If that is the case, then I will have to wire in the new antenna anyway from the rear deck to the dash.   Thanks for the suggestion.
