The new intake kits without the bead where the filter attaches are worth the wait...

So I hear Smiley  I am stoked that I ordered late enough to get the new style right off the bat Smiley

I guess it wasn't as big a deal to some, but I HATE to have to fiddle with something for way longer than it should take to be done with it. The filter clamp area may still need to be 'degreased' a bit, but after that it bolts right up to the intake pipe and allows some adjustment in positioning that wasn't available with the bead version. I was far more patient waiting for the parts than I was installing them once I had my hands on them.

The ONLY reason I am so antsy to get this intake, is that I now have my MBC sitting here staring me in the face...

I think the BOV has been in stock for a while.  The inlet pipe is one of the things on backorder

Yes, we have a good supply of BOVs and downpipes. It's just the piping for the intake and throttle body parts that are missing at the moment. When the next batch comes in, we will have many many many of them.

Are the intakes the only parts on backorder now? I'm in the market for the DP and Exhaust and would like to keep you guys in business but if they too are "backordered" I will be forced to go elsewhere for a custom Stainless system.

The backorder situation changes from day to day, so the best thing to do is contact us directly. There is a downpipe available right now. We'll have a big order of BOVs coming in on Friday. 24 exhausts were ordered on the 14th so we're waiting for those.

The good thing is that we don't charge your card until the parts ship, so we're the ones who feel the financial pain when things are on backorder. Trust me, it's not a situation we aim for.

no business aim's for that kind of thing. banghead Is the market so cornered that Fly'n Miata has only one option for a supplier and they can push your orders aside or seem to give false dates? Seems like your customers suffer from their misleadings.
